G EARED F OR S UCCESS 2018 Utah Asphalt Conference & Expo UAPA thanks our sponsors and those attending for making this year’s conference one of the best attended conferences we’ve had. I n our busy social media crazy world we often forget the importance of being in a live face-to-face setting with others from the business community. Being active in UAPA can bring with it many benefits. There is power in being connected to other people who are active in your line of work, but it can also be easy to talk yourself out of committing to our conference, Lunch and Learn events, or other events. Many people think that joining our organization is enough, but to capitalize on the return on your invest- ment you need to be engaged and participate in the meetings. In case you missed our recent conference, Geared for Success, we hope that you will save the dates for next year. For those of you that took the time and attended, we’re positive that you came away with good ideas, more knowledge and some new relationships.
